Breaking News - Government Stargate Made out of Lego

In a shock dicovery by our resident conspiracy theorist (me), Weekly WOTS News now has conclusive evidence that our very own government (and several other Western European Countries) has been involved in creating a working model of a Stargate. The picture below shows hard evidence (taken by Dr Onion on his camera phone after infiltrating a secret Government institution before being chased off the grounds by men with big shooty guns and rabid dogs) that this type of technology no longer only exists in the minds of madmen and tv producers but in secret government bunkers deep in the Yorksire Dales

Don't be fooled by the amateurish look of the device (To some it may in fact look like a child built it in his bedroom), this is cutting edge technology and proof positive that men can now travel beyond the stars - in fact, the second picture below shows the world that Dr Onion managed to travel to before he was dicovered by the authorities.

Contrary to the science established by the popular tv series, the Stargate itself does not have to be made out of some weird and wonderful alien metal alloy. It was found in studies that LEGO was a perfect conductor for the energies required to establish a wormhole and keep it stable for any length of time.

The question we have to ask now is..."What next"? Are we going to use this for the furthering of mankind or are we going to do what every alien encounter film has taught us and subjugate every race we encounter under the shackles of the human race before they do the same to us?!
